I know, I know, it’s Super Bowl Sunday. Who isn’t posting about the super bowl right now? IG posts talking about the 49ers and Chiefs. I’m not a fan of football in the least, but I’ve been fortunate to live in the Bay Area for the past 7 or 8 years and have seen the direct impact that sports dominance can have on a local economy (lol – this is a loaded topic)…Giants, Warriors and 49ers – Bay Area teams have been in 9 of the last 10 major sports championships (see @bayareagotsole repost from about a week ago). Anyway, all this Super Bowl madness had me thinking about 49er sneaker colorways I’ve owned…there was only one…and it happened to be a Kobe.
I found this pair of Kobe 3 All-Star Games at @ecothrift in Hayward, CA (located in the Bay Area and actually closer to where the 49ers play than San Francisco itself). They were pretty much brand new…if I remember correctly I paid $75 for them and sold them a month or two later for $275. I really thought they were supposed to be a #ninergang colorway and not just some random All Star Game colorway…and I’m pretty sure I sold them to someone in San Francisco.
I remember the @hufworldwide Trainer II’s and some DB Penny Maxes they came out with a while back, but the only other 49er colorways I remember consistently seeing come from Deion Sanders’ time with the 49ers and all those Diamond Turfs he came out with.

Being that this is the Bay – I’ll be rooting for the 49ers but could absolutely care less at the end of the day. Who you got? ⁣
