I listed these Dunk Supremes on eBay last Sunday for an auction. I found them at a flea market a few years ago (completely beat) and had _____ swap the soles on them. I wore them for a year or two before deciding I didn’t wear them enough to justify the limited space they were taking up in my closet. Within 24 hours the auction reached $180 and then I got a message from some dude who said “____ wouldn’t sole swap these fake pieces of trash.” I messaged him back and said ‘what makes you think they’re fake?’ and the guy gave me his reasons. Over the course of the next few hours with some research I decided he was right, thanked him and pulled the auction. I’ve mistakenly purchased and posted two pairs of fakes in the past few five years and both times someone was kind enough to warn me. That just goes to show – even collectors of 15+ years can make mistakes.
