Two days after ‘national sneaker grading day’ and the books show it was the most successful NSGD ever! Thanks to all who participated…! A real hope for one of these years for this jackassery of ‘The Day After National Sneaker Grading Day’ (aka #airmaxday): Air Max Hybrids. ⁣

Why is it that the best hybrids we see are put together by customizers? I mean, the @sean_wotherspoon 97 was obviously a hybrid (and I’m sure half of y’all that own that shoe don’t eem know that), but why can’t @nike take some stuff out the vault and remix it in a completely new and novel way?⁣

I’m probably in the minority here as I know some of my OG heads are ‘purists’, but I’ll be damned if I don’t love seeing what @govrn_ or @kscustoms comes up with every few days… ⁣

I mean, take a look at these options…there are probably 20 or 30 different Air Max soles and 20 or 30 different Air Max uppers. The possibilities are *endless. Why are we relegating ourselves to 2 or 3 models we are experimenting with? ⁣

For next years Air Max Day – (remember, it’s the day after National Sneaker Grading day) – let’s see if we can convince Nike to go down the rabbit hole of hybrids. …⁣
