As I remember it – I could be wrong – but from what I understood, @pgknows (a well known AF1 guy on the ‘gram) posted a pretty obvious fake pair of UPS Air Force 1’s and tongue-in-cheekly acted like they were a real pair only given to long-term employees of UPS. Some dude at Highsnobiety saw the post and took it as gospel and ended up writing a pretty lengthy article on them and the exclusivity of the pair. @pgknows and his followers found this beyond hilarious (it WAS hilarious) and relentlessly trolled this dude for a few weeks…this guy was so pissed he kept sending nasty DM’s and responding and…I couldn’t believe how long it lasted. I kinda lost track of what happened after that but, god, it was pretty damn funny. ⁣

That being said – Only long term 15+ year employees of @popeyeslouisianakitchen received these exclusive Air Force 1’s…obviously they’re super rare. Like as rare as their chicken sandwich was last August. Nicknamed ‘the funky chickens’, I’ve only seen 2 pairs in my life. DM serious educated offers. ⁣
