The question: What is the most obviously, blatantly, over-the-top bootlegged Nike or Jordan shoe of all time? ⁣

MY answer: I’d say it’s either the Jordan XI or the Air Force 1. ⁣

I feel like the Jordan XI had its heyday of bootlegs – the mid to late 2000’s – and then it just dropped the hell off. Granted – some of these bootlegs were just absurd – y’all remember the Obama XI’s? The Spongebob XI’s? I haven’t seen XI bootlegs in a while. ⁣

But for whatever reason, I still, TO THIS DAY, come across some of the most ridiculous AF1 bootlegs that exist. They pop up in all the places I’m a regular at. The auction sites, the online marketplaces, the in thrift and consignment shops, the flea markets…and they’re all over the streets. Still. To this day. I don’t get it. Like…who’s buying these things? Case in point – look at these Scarface themed AF1’s. I mean…I suppose if I were 11 years old and had just stumbled across the movie and saw these shoes the following day – maybe. But…yeah⁣
