My students are always asking me if I got last weekends release. No, and I have like zero interest in almost every single *new* release. I’ve wasted enough empty hours behind a computer just *hoping* to spend my hard-earned money on another sneaker I’ll get to wear once a year. It completely lost its appeal to me roughly 5 years ago. The only #snkrsapp releases I mess with are those that no one else really gives a damn about: 1996 Air Max II, Air Max Plus III, etc. Just completely obscure retros. That’s what I’m into. ⁣⁣

That being said – I still come across 20+ pairs of shoes a week on a pretty regular basis – some are for grading, some are on consignment, some are for selling, a couple are for me to wear. Here’s

And my last highlight for the week: A sole swap idea I came up with at the last minute while packing a box for @govrn_ . I love the Nike Air Internationalist. I LOVE the Internationalist. I’ve been steady rocking releases for the past 8 or 9 years and they are my real go-to beater. I’ve owned and put to rest at least 4 pairs in the past 8 or 9 years and that’s pretty substantial knowing that I have over 500 pairs of shoes. I had this pair of J Pack Internationalists (I know no one else calls them that) that I simply wasn’t wearing and had a set of 98 Air Max soles lying around and just decided to give it a shot. IMO – @govrn_ did his thing YET AGAIN and gave me a slightly more comfortable pair of Internationalist beaters. Nothing @nike hasn’t thought about yet, but I’m happy to have something no one else has (again). ⁣
