(3/3) Now I know these Off-Whites sat for a while and even hit some sales racks. Since the initial push when they first released, the prices dropped pretty significantly. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
I’m no longer that guy that jumps into any release immediately – I’m more of a ‘wait and see’ kind of guy. The only releases I’ll snag on release date will be those that I have a strong nostalgic connection to (ie: the last shoe I bought for retail on release date was the Air Max Plus 3 Hyper Blue as I had been waiting for it for a good 20 years). ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
The Kigers (as a GR) have been on my radar for years…about 10 years ago I got into trail running as a hobby and the Kiger was one of the first Nikes I really wanted to cop for the minimalist fit and ‘dropped heel’.⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It looks like the majority of you thought that the pair on the left was from (stockx or mercari) and was (real or fake). The truth is the pair on the left came from Mercari and they’re the pair I believe to be fake. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
I’ve added a couple more photos of what I noticed to help you out should you come across a pair in the future and you know what to look for – ⁣⁣⁣
Photo 1: The lace printing ‘SHOELACES’ is more textured on the fakes (fakes top, real bottom).⁣⁣⁣
Photo 1: The spikes on the fakes are slightly fatter and longer.⁣⁣⁣
Photo 2: The Carbon Fiber under the rubber is significantly clearer and shinier on the real than on the fakes. ⁣⁣⁣
Photo 2: The toe cap of the fakes is sleeker than the fakes. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
All that being said, they really weren’t that bad for a pair of fakes – they were actually quite good. My return request was approved and I’ve sent them back already…⁣⁣⁣
