(1/3) When I saw this release, I didn’t care for it. The colors were kinda wack and they look/looked so damn uncomfortable. The quality – as with ALL off-whites that I’ve seen in person – was pretty bad. Glue everywhere, shitty seams, bad cuts – they looked like they’d fall apart on first wear. That being said, once I saw them in person at my local shop – @ten11.oak – hitting outlets, and eventually maintaining a reasonable price point, I figured maybe I’d try a pair out. ⁣

The sizing kinda sucks because – for whatever reason – a large chunk of people selling these online don’t know how to list them. They’re women’s sizing so about 50% of the listings out there list the women’s size as the men’s size and vice versa. The only way you can actually figure out what the actual size is is by looking at the size tag so you’ve gotta slog through a million shitty pictures just to figure out what size they are. ⁣

The other day I found two cheapish listings a day or so apart…both within a half size of what I wanted to get – I copped both. One was directly from StockX, the other from Mercari. I received them both a day or so apart, and noticed one of them was significantly different than the other…⁣

First – the pair on the left -take a look at the orange tag. It looks like it has two layers of stitching, while the pair on the right only has one layer of stitching. ⁣

Second – take a look at the stitching along the (pointless) lateral seam. The one on the left is more rounded, while the one on the right is a bit sharper. ⁣

What y’all think? Did I cop some fakes? Did I get burned?⁣
