Picked up these ridiculous Martine Rose x Nike Monarchs for dumb cheap (dont worry I plan on returning them) and can’t for the life of me understand how any self-respecting human being would pay $300 for these things. I mean, I know…different strokes for different folks, but…It’s obviously irony for the sake of irony. Just the ultimate in irony. Like ‘oh you think you’re ironic because you ironically wear dad shoes? Well how about you buy some high-priced pre-malformed ironic dad shoes to show just how ironic you are.’ Art, I guess. Or not? Who the hell knows. ⁣
