(12/12) Let me first say that I appreciate the encouragement on yesterday’s post – I had no intention of having that post come off the way it did (I’m over it it was like 3 years ago), I just wanted to share my experience…⁣

So what’s the moral of the story? I don’t know that there is one. I felt imminent success in a partnership with one of the biggest names in the game and watched it slip away from the oversized windows of a rented minivan.. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I’d like to think that most entrepreneurs and dreamers go through similar things and at the end of the day it’s all a test. A test to see if – even in the face of bitter disappointment – you can still hold on and push through. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So I’m here, 3 years later, still holding on, still trying to find my lane, still trying to build this thing I created. Although Jay was the first sneaker guy I showed this to, he wasn’t the last. I’ve talked with countless others you might or might not know… everyone is into the idea but finding its place has been tough. If you know of anyone that could use ‘sneaker grading’ or ‘sneaker preservation’ or can see a link between businesses – please tag them in this post. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The other day I shared with a friend @adaclock ‘some days I feel like giving up on it’ and he said to me ‘bruh, you’re at an incredible spot and you don’t even know it…When you’re ready to give up, that means that you no longer give a fuck what anyone thinks and you just go for it all and you try everything.’ ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Now…this pic (the second one) was sent to me by one of my suppliers in the midst of everything I was trying to get together. It’s dumb and it’s corny but every time I see it, it makes me smile. Hopefully this isn’t the end and it’s just another chapter in the long, storied history of @thesneakersavant and my goals.⁣

So here I am, trying it all.⁣ looking for that pair of gold Flightposites at the end of the rainbow. Who’s got next?⁣
