Back in the day there was no Instagram and there was no Twitter and there damn sure weren’t any hashtags. If you were interested in something you googled and found forums where you’d talk with like-minded individuals about what you were interested in. For shoes – there were 2 or 3 (or 4) forums. My favorite was (and still is) NikeTalk. I can’t even begin to describe how much of an impact NikeTalk had not just on my life but the market as a whole.⁣
