(3/9) Jeter XI Highs $21k authenticity check cont’d…

So, being that I’m not a fan of blue suede shoes (shoutout to @elvis ), I had to do a little more research on the pair in question. I watched a bunch of videos and read a bunch of articles and talked with a bunch of other trusted colleagues in the marketplace and learned all about the Jeter XI Highs and why they cost so much freakin money…

Apparently, @jumpan23 released only FIVE pairs to scratch card winners who happened to be in the Bronx at ‘Jeter’s’ popup shop at 880 River Ave in May of 2017, shortly after his retirement ceremony. From @solecollector: “According to J23app, an exclusive navy-based Air Jordan 11 and the “Jeter” Air Jordan 1 Retro are each available via scratch-off lottery…”

Every single *major* sneaker blog claims there were only 5 pairs available via scratch-off lottery. …
That’s not to say there are only 5 pairs in existence, but there are really only 5 pairs that should be accounted for on the resale market.

Is this one of those pairs? What do you think?
