An oldie but goodie. I’ve heard from a few people ‘I’m getting tired of seeing glue stains.’ The fact of the matter is, glue stains are the number 1 cause of lower grades. Like almost every single pair whatsoever has inconsistent glue stains. This pair – some KD VIII EXT with Vachetta leather – came directly from Nike looking like this. Tell me – with a retail of $199 – you wouldn’t be pissed off receiving these in the mail? I’m not big on knockin’ someone else’s work – and I know how difficult it is to glue the midsole onto a pair of shoes – but this is absurd. I have yet to see a single pair of these ‘premium leather’ shoes that aren’t tainted by the sloppy glue job. That being said – all y’all @easymoneysniper collectors out there – wouldn’t you pay a premium for a perfect pair of Vachetta tans?
