Just found out an old friend @danposite passed away. When I first moved to New York back in 2003, this dude showed me all the ropes of the NY sneaker scene. Me, him, @solesupreme23 and any number of others (including @saistv ) used to spend our Saturdays hitting all the shops on (and off) Broadway just to see what new releases we couldn’t afford. On other days, we’d just pick a random spot on the NYMTA map and search for mom and pop sneaker shops. Whenever I think of Dan, I’ll think of his Heineken dunks…he wore these relentlessly in the early 2000s. I really can’t thank him enough for educating me. R.I.P. Danny.
