Like I said in my first post of the weekend…it’s kind of a bittersweet time (this last week of school). Having gone from Wall Street to Silicon Valley to teaching middle schoolers in East Oakland, my outlook on a lot of things has changed…I really hope I left these kids with some hope and I really hope they know the world is a big place and there are a million different opportunities for someone with a dream. I thought a bit about the shoes I wanted to wear this week and settled on 1s. Air Max 1s. Jordan 1s. 1 week left of my 1st year. It was an incredible experience. I guess it goes to show – you’re never too old to grow.
