PE Sundays! 2 Questions – Who were these 2013 Zoom Hyperdunks made for? That’s the easy question. Who did I get these from? That’s the hard question. I got them from a recently waived 49er player who was given this pair by the man himself…
Skystepper 2k3 Sample. Can’t say I’ve seen all that many of these out there…what do you think? Black reptile-like print on the upper, stark white perforated leather on the sides complimented with a wolf gray sole.
Copped this pair from one of my local shops the other day and didn’t bother checking both shoes (DS condition how bad could they be?) of course when I got home I noticed a pretty significant stain right in the middle of the Jumpman. I wish I woulda followed my own advice and got these […]
I came across this pic the other day. A great representation of a couple of my biggest influences growing. 2pac x Jordan? Yes, please. What if Pac were alive today – would his shoe designs be any better than the Yeezy 950 boost? Or the OVO 10s?
Who remembers Osiris D3’s? These were the ultimate skate shoes (or, they looked like the ultimate skate shoes – I never actually owned a pair). Super fat, short toe, lots of padding…these things were all over the place in 2001…The Sneaker Savant graded this pair an 8 out of 10 and had this to say: […]
Still think Jordan’s aren’t being overproduced? One of my favorite consignment shops @prstg_shop posted these the other day (they normally post several different pairs every day). Anyway…food for thought…
Misplaced checks? Ehhhh…how about ‘mismatched serials’? I came across this pair of Adidas ZX Flux OBYO’s the other day and found it very interesting that out of 333 pairs made – I found a pair of 8.5s with mismatched serial numbers. Anyone out there have the same mismatched numbers?
Randy “Kort King” basketball shoes from the late 1960s/early 70s. A gentlemen sent me these for grading and encasing a couple of months ago with the intention of preserving his great grandfathers legacy – his story: These shoes belonged to Seymour “Chick” Bromberg, who was born June 5, 1918 in New York, NY to Russian […]
A couple of my favorite bootleg-looking items…the top are from the 70s/80s and are from a brand called ‘Action Sports’. The bottom are called ‘Spot Bilt’ and were worn by a pretty famous NBA player in the 80s – any idea who that was?
Reebok week! Another great Reebok concept drop – this is supposedly a recreation of reeboks first running sneaker ‘the aztec’.
